I design with a purpose, so I consider important to place myself in the position of the end-user. I read all text that goes with my design. I edit my own texts and suggest corrections if I am not the author. I write equally well in English, French and Russian, so I can work on multilingual projects without a translator.
Sometimes marketers force copywriters to lie. I prefer to subordinate text to my ideals of honesty and conscience. I persuade such clients with my experience in marketing: in the long run, lies tend to offend and repel customers.
