Trail running race “Course des carrieres”

The trail running race “Course des carrieres” is organized in the woods of Fontainebleau, 50 km south of Paris. The itinerary goes through fields, forests and abandoned sandstone quarries. The area was producing sandstone for pavements of Paris. The race offers 2 variants to compete: 11 km and 22 km. Around 700 runners participated.
