He has been working for such international organizations as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Labor Organization (ILO), International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), World Council of Churches (WCC), World Health Organization (WHO), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), World Trade Organization (WTO) and other clients since the late 1970s.<br /><br />A member of AIIC, he has been teaching translation and interpretation at the Moscow’s MGIMO in the 1980s, The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in early 1990s, and later at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the Geneva University for 15 years.
