At SYLIPSI, we understand that every project and every client is different and we refuse to put you in a rigid system. Rather, we begin with a simple and flexible process that we modify for each project.

1. Analysis and consulting

First of all, we begin by analyzing your company and your industry to provide a solution tailored exactly to your business objectives. We conduct research, ask questions and gather a maximum of information to clarify your needs.

During this phase, we use our 5-year experience in Internet to consult and advise you. And, as we don't expect you to be a specialist of web design, we educate you so that you can take the most informed decisions possible.

2. Strategic planning

After that, we establish a strategic plan. Strategy and objectives orient aesthetic, functional and technological choices. At this point, we work closely with you to evaluate your risks and opportunities, and our analysis is used to establish a clear plan of actions to achieve your business objectives.

We translate your goals and our solutions into a finished product with scrupulous budget planning, scope definition, scheduling and asset management.

3. Information architecture

Next, we define the structure and the flow of information that will be on your site. At this stage, we conceptualize the organization of information that will be collected, manipulated and communicated to the visitor. Information architecture is a base of the site and insures its efficient operation.

4. Interface design

After that, we design the graphic interface of your site, that has to be at the same time ergonomically and aesthetically compelling. This phase will determine the look and feel of the site.

On the ergonomics level, the graphic interface will allow the site visitors to understand and to navigate in information. We establish an intuitive language that your audience can immediately understand. We are experts in identifying on-line habits, visitors' interests, opportunities and goals. We conduct ergonomics tests from the first prototype to the finished site.

On the aesthetics level, designers at SYLIPSI are artists first of all, with a refined approach towards design. We build a unique visual language for each project, that is fresh, original and understandable at the same time.

And because at SYLIPSI we integrate photography, digital retouching and fine art, we use original art pieces in the design of your site. Thus we give you another opportunity to increase the aesthetic value of your site and distinguish it from the traditional stock photography imagery. At SYLIPSI, we consider each design as a piece of art, and we think that using stock photography is at least insufficient. We use stock photography only if it is impossible to make an original illustration, as, for example, in the case of images of comets and historical events.

5. Technical development

Finally, we develop the technical side of the site, combining all the project components in a finished site.

At SYLIPSI, we prefer not to separate technology from the creative process. Except sophisticated back end solutions, our designers always carry out the technical development. That way, our designers understand perfectly all technical limitations of the web, find possibilities within and use them to advantage. This also ensures they have the absolute control over design from the first scratch to the final site. They master HTML, DHTML, Flash, CGI, PERL and JavaScript to always find the appropriate technical solution.

6. Quality assurance

The site goes on-line once we have tested and retested it. We conduct meticulous tests to check every link, every possible browser, every platform and screen resolution.

7. Refinement

Often, however, this does not stop there. Your project could become multinational, incorporate new functionalities, connect to your back-end systems or extend your on-line presence to off-line print.
