“Kvadrat” in Slavic and Scandinavian languages means “square”. So I designed the site upon a traditional Swiss grid using squares which are multiples of main-text leading. My combination of CSS3 and custom lightweight JavaScript insures the design reshapes by steps of square blocks, looking pixel-perfect on a tiny iPhone 640×960 pixels screen, as well as on a huge pro desktop 2560×1440 pixels display… and anything in-between. All graphical elements – logo, typography, transparency, animation – are pure HTML5. I used only 2 GIFs (for links underlines).
